Learn through video webisodes
Understand the test format and examiner expectations. Build pronunciation, vocabulary, useful phrases and response strategies through short, focused lessons and model answers.
10 years of STEP · IELTS Speaking · Four-month course
Prepare for Parts 1, 2 and 3 through video lessons, app-based practice and two coach calls each week. Build stronger responses, practise under test conditions and improve through personalised feedback—not memorised answers.
Your complete IELTS Speaking course
Learn the language and strategies, practise them independently, then use them under pressure with a coach. Each part of the course prepares you for the next.
How the course works
Videos, independent practice and live coaching are designed as one sequence—not separate course benefits.
Understand the test format and examiner expectations. Build pronunciation, vocabulary, useful phrases and response strategies through short, focused lessons and model answers.
Apply what you learn through assignments, sample responses, self-evaluation and pronunciation practice. Use IELTS Speaking band descriptors to review what makes an answer effective.
Practise test questions, cue cards and mock tests in two calls each week. Receive feedback specific to your responses, with targeted grammar or pronunciation support where you need it.
Parts 1, 2 and 3
You practise all three parts throughout the course, returning to them as your responses, fluency and control improve.
Part 1
Respond to familiar questions about yourself, your work, studies, interests and experiences with clearer, more natural answers.
Part 2
Use the preparation minute well, organise your ideas and keep speaking for up to two minutes without relying on a memorised script.
Part 3
Give opinions, reasons, suggestions and examples. Develop a longer response and handle follow-up questions when the examiner pushes the discussion further.
Your learning cycle
The course does not move through four rigid monthly phases. It uses a repeated cycle that adapts as the learner improves.
Watch focused webisodes on test format, pronunciation, vocabulary, useful language, response structure or model answers.
Use assignments and app practice to prepare, record or evaluate a response before the next live session.
Answer test-style questions, work against the cue-card clock or complete a speaking mock with your coach.
Receive personal feedback and identify the most useful grammar, pronunciation, fluency or response-building focus.
Apply the feedback in another response and carry a clear practice task into the next cycle.
Then the cycle begins again with the next focus—through all 31 coach-call topics.
Inside the 64 webisodes and 11 assignments
The course develops the language, control and test awareness needed to respond effectively in IELTS Speaking.
Understand the format of Parts 1, 2 and 3, what happens in each part and what examiners expect.
Work on sounds, word stress, sentence stress, intonation and accent clarity, supported by online pronunciation evaluation.
Build topic vocabulary, functional phrases and ways to express opinions, reasons, feelings, suggestions and comparisons naturally.
Use mind maps, linking language, reasons and examples to develop responses instead of stopping after one short idea.
Review sample performances against the IELTS Speaking evaluation criteria and identify what makes a response effective.
Listen back to responses, use band descriptors and learn to recognise the next improvement to make.
Two coach calls each week
Across 31 calls, your coach helps you apply the course content to IELTS Speaking questions and improve the way you respond under test conditions.
Live · 45 min
Review the last practice task, personal feedback and the IELTS Speaking skill that needs attention now.
Answer Part 1 questions, develop a Part 2 cue-card response or take a Part 3 discussion further.
Work with time limits, unexpected follow-ups and the moments when an answer does not come easily.
Understand what helped or weakened your response—from fluency and organisation to grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary.
Try the response again, applying one or two changes while the feedback is still fresh.
Know exactly what to watch, practise or record before the next coach call.
Prepare for the difficult moments
Confidence comes from practising what can actually happen in the test—not only rehearsing ideal answers.
Listen, respond directly and develop an idea when the examiner changes direction.
Recover, rephrase and keep speaking instead of freezing when the exact word does not come.
Use the preparation minute to organise ideas and sustain a response within the time available.
Work on the grammar, pronunciation, fluency or response habits revealed by your own practice and mock tests.
